Economy: 48% Think It’s Obama’s Fault For Bad Economy In Polls

According to a new national poll forty eight percent of Americans polled disapproved of Obama’s Presidency thus far. While Americans are concerned about the economy, President Obama has remained personally popular and gets good ratings in other areas such as foreign policy.

Majority of Americans Blame President Obama For Bad Economy

Up until now most Americans blamed President George W. Bush for the current economic situation. However, the new opinion poll shows that now 48% of Americans blame President Obama’s policies for the current bad economy while 47% blame President Bush. The poll was a Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. The new results are up 3% from last month. These new findings negatively reflect on the Democratic party and candidates this fall. The findings indicate that most Americans think the economy is getting worse rather than better.

Obama Supporters Want To Ban Telephone Surveys

Supporters of President Obama note that they hate telephone surveys and that they should be banned. Supporters ask how could President Obama be blamed for the economic down fall that started before he took office. Those that oppose President Obama’s policies state that it is about time the country stops blaming President Bush for the continual bad economy.

 

Obama Blamed

For the first time since President Obama took office he is now being blamed for the poor economic situation across the country. Voters are starting to see his policies as equally to blame for our economic situation. President Obama is planning on reducing his campaign appearances this fall in order to reduce an backlash towards the Democratic party. President Obama has been in office for eighteen months now. It is to be expected for voters to blame the current leader for the economic problems of the country.
