Only the reasons why it changes are debated. Those 'deniers' refute human-caused global warming (AGW) is the threat 'warmists' claim it to be. And with good cause; In 1998 warming peaked. The IPCC's computer models say it should now be warmer because of increased CO2 emissions since '98. It's slightly cooler. Therefore the theory is disproved. Those that denied AGW theory have been proven right by time and actual temperature compared simply against the predicted temperature. Even the CRU scientists admit they can't account for the lack of warming versus their computer model predictions. The scientific method dictates 'we' now put forward a new theory based on observation and evidence then follow through with experiments, observation, measurements and analysis to see if we're any closer to an understanding of what does drive climate. It's going to be hard to cap and trade sunshine or cosmic rays if they turn out to be the 'missing' drivers as some propose. Problem is billions of $ still ride on those now incorrect 'CO2-warming' predictions, so it's hard to unwind the mess without severe economic repercussions to those who have invested in good faith in the 'solutions' to AGW. Sadly, I'm one of those heavily invested in 'green' solutions. The inconvenient truth for me now is the fact that CO2 hasn't warmed us... but I guess I should be happy about that.
